Robert Griffin III has now stated multiple times that he doesn't plan to throw at the NFL Combine. This is unfortunate, but understandable, and it really comes as no surprise. Top quarterbacks often do not participate in passing drills until their respective pro-days; throwing to familiar receivers, in pre-coordinated exercises, which are more like a NFL game than what the combine offers.
"It would be foolish to say it's even a fair and equitable environment for throwing," he says. "When you show up in a game, you're never going in without a game plan. It's a disadvantage to throw when you have no idea of the rhythm that you will have with your receivers.
"I'll decide when I get there. I'll do the other tests and see how it goes."
He also called himself the "CEO of Griffin Enterprises," classy. Check out the entire article (HERE).
